Upgrading 600E ?

We have a Dell Dimension, with a 600E/100 Pentium III processor on a BX motherboard, with the 600E mounted on the good old slot.

Question: Where to go from here? Purchasing a slotket seems obvious, but do I jump for the 850/100 (which seems to be the highest reasonable 100MHz bus CPU) or keep waiting for the 100 MHz Celerons to go up?

I have no desire to overclock, and the 600 MHz is plenty fast for right now, so no urgent upgrade is required. Am I better off waiting for the Celerons to keep increasing on the 100 MHz bus?

the 100Mhz FSB on the Celerons still wont make them anywhere near as fast as the PIII. I would go for the 850PIII, I have the 600E just like you on a VIA board, you can maybe overclock that thing to 800Mhz, that is what I can do on mine.
