upgrades..

i currently have a P4 1.6W with 512mb pc800 rdram. i want to upgrade my motherboard and ram .. possibly cpu too....but thing is..i dont know what kinda ram i should get..stick with rdram or go to ddr?

If your going to upgrade you mobo and ram.. then I would go with the XP2400 and the nforce 2 and DDR of course.. plus you get the dual channel bandwidth. If you are loyal to intel and don't care how much you spend. then I would go with the p4 3.08 ghz with HT and DDR. It is performing better then rambus as of late... plus rambus is out the door and expensive. As far as the motherboard for that setup is.. I wouldn't go with the 875p,,, but instead I would go with the e7205 chipset cuz it performs the same and is cheaper http://www6.tomshardware.com/motherboard/20030429/index.html . But anyways.. thats my two cents.
