i wiped my machine and used the same WinXP image. Then i immediately installed sp2.

Now whenever I goto mail.yahoo.com, i go directly into my acct. this never happened b4. i rebooted. same.

How did that happen? And how do i turn that feature off?

I have never heard of this happening, and don't think that it would be caused by anything that SP2 did. It seems weird that it would log you directly into your account even after closing your browser.

I would run the standard spyware scans, but I doubt that has anything to do with it. Are you using Firefox, and by chance do you have the cookies "protected"?
