I just upgraded my wifi mesh from some crappy wifi 5 mesh from my internet provider to TP-link XE75 pro wifi 6E.

I have a 500/500 fiber and on my old setup most of my house was max 100/80.Now it is 500/500 everywhere. I've ordered 1000/1000 as it is only ~$3 more every month.

The problem is getting destination host error messages while connecting to the WiFi network. I tried this Fix Destination Host Unreachable ping error and Destination Host Unreachable error.

Checked the specifications of AXE5400 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E System, sounds a good deal.

I've been very happy with the TP Link AX3000 X55 system I bought a while back. I'm only using 2 of the 3 mesh units and get excellent coverage and speed. Also considering upgrading to 1000/1000 when it becomes available in our neighborhood.

I wish the mesh units had more ports so I didn't have to use an extra switch to connect everything but it's not the end of the world.

I really don't have anything wired anymore except for the cable modem. But the Xe75 pro have 2x 1GbE and 1x 2.5GbE.

I have all my PCs, TVs, audio equipment, etc. wired. The only wireless devices are mobile (phones, laptops) and all the smart home stuff like light switches, thermostat, etc. My previous routers had 4 lan ports so I didn't need a switch in those 2 locations, but I had to add one once I switched to the TP-Link.

I am waiting till Prime Day or Black Friday to switch to 6E standard. I think I am on 5??. Been 3 years. No other devices I have uses 6E yet!

You'll be mighty disappointed, if you don't have any 6Ghz client devices. Might as well wait and get wifi 7, with 320Mhz channel support.

Meh, currently I can't get higher than 750/350 on 6Ghz or 650/200 on 5Ghz channel. I get 950/850 with cable connected. :/
