upgraded tp Vista 64 bit - now getting major artifacting

it seems there are a ton of others who had this same issue with Vista 64 & the factory overclocked cards... but I haven't come across a solid solution.

when I play a movie in Media Player Classic, my screen goes nuts & then I have to reboot.

any one find a solution out there?
 
Downclock the card with RivaTuner?

Or just buy a replacement. There's an Asus 8800GS @ ncixus.com for $38AR + ~$17 shipping to US. So for $55AR you get a card that's faster/lower power consumption/quieter than your 7900GT that will also do full HD content playback if you're into that.
