Upgraded to XP Pro, need help with my "old" email

I upgraded to XP PRO.
I did NOT format the HD
How do I get my email that is on the HD, into my current outlook express?

Can anyone take the time and tell me, as if I was a beginner?

I found my old email here: C:\Documents and Settings\Raymond\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\ ( I deleted some of the info)

Hiya Ray-

Ive done it this way a few times....

setup your Outlook Express and then try to do an Import of the files from the old location...should work..
Worse case you could seetup Outlook Express and copy the old files over the newly created ones (old ones have email, new ones shouldnt, so no loss..)

Boot from old HD. Open Outlook Express.
Using Outlook Express menu:
File > Export > Messages
Save them to some folder/floppy.
Transfer it to the XP partition / HD.
Using outlook express on WinXP open :
File > Import > Messages
Point it to the folder where you exported the files.
You will get your mail back.
