Nice.. I was thinking of getting an IBM T40 and the one I was looking at had a 7500 32mb.. wasn't sure if it'd be adqeuate even though I might not game much on it anyway.

you know how it is.. newer technology out and you don't really want something that's a generation older

Dell Inspiron 8100 and Up can be upgraded I believe.
I remember reading that the 8100 can be upgraded to a gf4 go of some type, but it depends on the lcd that you have. Ibm lcd's don't work or something. I'm not too sure. So if you have an inspiron 8000+ of some type and want to upgrade your video card, try looking on google for suggestions on how to. There is this other person who is selling the radeon 9000/gf4 go for about 120-160 on egay.

So how is your video card working for you? Man, this radeon 7500 mobility is as fast as the geforce 4 go (look at benchmarks on tech sites like anandtech.com or tomshardware.com). I'm playing warcraft 3 on my machine (1ghz p3 w/ 320 sdram, 40 gb hdd, 15" xga, yadda yadda) at 1024x768@32bit w/ everything turned on and it rocks. I don't play FPS games as much, so just as long as WC3 works great, I'm happy :).

I'm not being sarcastic. Compared to the GF2 Go that I had in my system, this video card definitely rocks.
