I'm coming from a E7200, HD 6870 (Bought when my last 4850 died), 4GB of ram, 1TB WD GP (5400RPM ftw) to i7-4770, 8gb of ram (I am considering buying the second stick for 16gb; I do some photoshop/lightroom work and some video stuff too), HD 7970 (Going to OC to GHz levels), and a 250GB Samsung 840 EVO.

What can I play these days that will take advantage of my system? I'll be gaming on a single 1920x1200 display. (If you care - Dell U2413) I'm going to play Crysis 1-3 (I played the original Crysis, but 2x4850 and a E7200 @ 3.6-3.8 still crawled at 1920x1200). I have 3 games to consider getting with the 7970 bundle.

What I'm mostly interested in for games: Multiplayer. Multiplayer. Multiplayer.

If you hurry, you can still grab Hitman Absolution on Steam for $6. Very cool stealth/action game that's also very technically and visually striking.

I forget, which free games are packaged in with the 7970 now? Whatever they are, I would probably suggest those as well.

ditch the 8GB sticks and go for 4x4GB

Only 2 dimms in the motherboard. So, 2x8GB is the only option at this point. It's DDR3 1600 CL11 too (Didn't feel like spending $10-$20 extra per stick for CL9). I bought a $53 motherboard to go with my $309 CPU. (Actually, bought them together and then used a $20 discount. So, it was about $342 for CPU+mobo)

Eh. It's singleplayer though. I've played Hitman games before. They're alright(ish), but I don't feel like paying for that.

Hitman Absolution is one of the options. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16800995173

If you're limiting yourself to multiplayer games, then you're missing out. Hitman Absolution is great (and considerably different than the older iterations, mind you). Sleeping Dogs is phenomenal. Same with Tomb Raider. And Blood Dragon. And Deus Ex. And... actually, most of the games on that list are pretty great. :hmm:

I see Saints Row IV got added, that's a pretty sweet deal too, considering it just came out a month ago.
