I have an Abit BE6 motherboard, installed latest BIOS, says it can support up to max P3 850. I was using a P3 450 Slot 1 for a long time and now upgraded and bought another Slot 1, P3 800(100mhz) CPU, swapped it in.

I tried default setting of Multiplier 8 X 100mhz and even user defined 8 X 100 with 2/3 agpclk/cpuclk and everything else default. Whenever I try to run a game or access a webpage with flash animations, its locks up with no error message, can't use reset button. My P3 450mhz never had any of these problems and a same slot 1 cpu upgrade is all i did....

Also tried formatting and reinstalling windows, no luck. =(

Other Stats in case they help: 128mb (pc100) + 128mb (pc133)
TNT 2 Ultra AGP card with 32mb ram

did you add the 133 memory at the same time? the 100 and 133 memory could be your problem. try pulling one stick and see if the prob's still there.
