0WG864 is my motherboard model. can i upgrade to a duo core on this mobo or is that not possible ?

well its a dell dimension e520 pc. currently using a Pentium D CPU. 7300 Le Graphics card. pretty sure its a BTX mobo.

Well, I found that link which shows your motherboard being used apparently with an e4300.

I also found a link to Dell's specification sheet for your computer. It shows support for the first generation of C2D chips (e6400, e6600, etc). You should probably flash to the latest BIOS and then you can probably find one of those first generation chips on eBay or the FS/FT forum here and you're gtg.
