Is there a question here or did just want to let everyone know what's happening in your computer world?

Upgrading is all about how much money you have to burn and the goal for which you upgrade. Without that info, it's hard to give any advice.

The OP's current system is solid. He should be able to do just about anything until the next gen vid-cards are out (post 7800 etc.), just not at high resolution or with AA/AF.

Ahhhh. Okay. I would go PCI-E, simply because they will be phasing out AGP at some point in time.
Tas.

The bottomline is that i want to spend only 1k on upgrade and i use it for many things but mostly gaming should i just start a whole new system from ground up and just take the 2 hard drives and leave that machine alone with the maxtor
