Koolance Watercooled Case

Koolance Watercooled Case #2

Koolance Watercooled Case #3

Here's what I have. I have the Koolance case with the cpu and hdd watercooling blocks. I want to buy another case and start building another watercooling setup. I've looked into alternate forms of cooling such as phase cooling (promethia & vapo) and I want to stick to water. My specs are in my profile. My temps usually hang around 28C idle and 34C full load. I don't care too much on the price or loudness. Are there watercooling kits out there that are head-and-shoulders above the rest? Or would I have to piece a system together. If I have to piece a system together, what components would you guys recommend?

The new asetek pump is pretty nifty IMHO: Build in resevoir, USB/Software control over 2 fan controllers (max 3 fans per controller) and pump speed.

But I don't know if it's better than other stuff you can get out there as my experience is limited to this. To me most of watercooling solutions seems to do pretty much the same althugh some are ofcourse a little better than other.

You already have good water cooling just get two gpu water blocks and water cool those than your done. IMO its not worth buying a whole new case and water cooling system.

What about upgrading the pump and resevoir? Would that decrease temps considerably? or possibly upgrading the cpu block? The one that's on there is pretty decent (Koolance CPU-300-H06) but are there any out there that are a considerable upgrade? How about a cpu block from Danger Den? The radiator is pretty good sized so that's not a problem. Would upgrading the size of the tubing from 3/8" to 1/2"OD help decrease temps? If I'm going to be adding 2 gpu blocks, I would think that I would at least have to upgrade the pump/res. But I'm a noob to this watercooling setup as this is my first one, so any constructive criticism is more than welcome. Thanks in advance everyone and happy holidays!

If your going to add 2 more gpu block, I would definitely look for a new pump. Your temps now seem fine so i think your radiator should be able to handle the added heatload. but if the temps are too high for your liking, you can always get a new radiator.

Well since most pumps that you buy aftermarket don't come already mounted within the reservoir, which pump & reservoir should I get?

www.jab-tech.com :D

the res i use is on the dangerden website. Its the circular one that mounts on the bottom of the case. I like it vs having a drive res because the res is connected right next to my pump and makes priming very easy. Also. my CPU block is switech storm. I love this block. Pump is Dangerden, Radiator, blackice extreme. All tubing is 3/8, wish i went 1/2 tho. im using 2 panflo's one on the front side of the res and the other on the back so i have pure flow of air. Ummm... thats about it...

PS. Im probably gonna get flamed on my waterpump, but i like it. I havent had problems with it. And i can bearly hear it.

Also. The asertek if u can find it is a really nice pump too. I think he's talking about the one thats a modified ehiem. I was actually concidering that, but 79.99 vs 149.99 :X id rather use the extra money on somewhere else since im only cooling cpu and NB.
