Upgrade to Logitech Z-5300: is it worth it?

I've currently got a MidiLand 8200 (first rev.). They have done the job for a while, but the treble is significantly weaker then that which my old Creative FPS-1000's had (yes, ancient and underpowered, lol). Does anyone have any experience with both of these speakers and would it be worth the $150 to upgrade? And would the ADS-2000 reciever from the MidiLand speakers work right w/ the Z-5300's?
