Upgrade to Graphics in Notebook?

I have an HP laptop with the RADEON 200m integrated graphics card. IT is the 128mb version. It is actually not that bad of a card, but im told its not great for gaming. Is there any way to install an after market card in laptops?

well..... If you can find mobile graphics card, that would be a start but I dont know if there is a slot to put the card into.

nope. you're screwed unless you are willing to do a lot of work soldering and writihg your own software. the HP does not come with mobile pci-e switchable gfx cards.

The other option is to see if HP has a motherboard replacement that will fit in your chassis that has a better card, but that can be costly, and may not be the route you're looking for.

I was actually just wondering. My comp usage right now is about 60 percent school 40 percent other, so i dont really need a tight card. I was just thinking it would be interesting to beef up. thanks.
