Upgrade to 1070 or 1080 from Original Titan?

Guys, the 1070 and 1080 have gotten me back interested in PC gaming again. I haven't upgraded anything in my Rampage IV Extreme / i7 3930K / 16GB RAM in a few years now except for a newer SSD. I have an original Titan, but am looking at the 1070 or 1080. My current monitor is 2560x1440 and I might be interested in hooking the PC up on occasion to my 4K TV's. I've been having a hard time finding reviews that include the original Titan for comparison sake.

My question is, should I bother upgrading? Or wait it out?

I don't game a ton right now, but I've been playing alot of Overwatch.

Any input is appreciated.

Could grab a Ti from the classifieds or r/hardwareswap (thats what I did). Play your cards right and you could grab a Ti for $350 and match the performance of a 1070.

Why not wait a little if you're not gaming much anyways and keep upgrading from Titan to Titan?

I just don't know if the price premium would be worth it. Not sure what the MSRP is going to be. I've found a couple 1080's locally for $629 which piqued my interest.

That's what I'm doing. Two for maybe two. We'll see what the actual performance is.

I'd wait for the 1080 Ti if you're just playing Overwatch. That game is easy on the video card.
