Alright so I am using a 8800GTX right now, and I play Bad Company 2 at all low settings on 1920x1080, and I want to play at higher settings. Is it worth upgrading to a GTX 460 for $200-220?

How much better is the 460 than the 8800gtx?

of course the gtx460 is quite a bit faster. look at reviews and determine for yourself if its worth it or not.

Your card is about equivalent to a 9800gt, maybe just a bit faster. The GTX460 is about as fast as the GTX285 in BC2 (faster in other games, I believe). You're talking about going from 30fps at 1920/high to about 50fps. Nice improvement, not quite 2x, but a game changer, no doubt.

It's up to you if that's worth it...I'd say it is, but definitely go for the 1GB model, not the 768.
