Within the next 45-60 days I will upgrading my system (below) to an Athlon XP system with an nforce2 m/b and new ram.

Primarily I will be using it for gaming and some video editing.
Eventually, I'll need a good capture card for converting my hi8 mm tapes (but dont think I can fit it into my budget)
I will evenutally need a newer video card but again (probably not on this budget)
Part of me wants to splurge and get the 9700 Radeon All in Wonder for gaming and video capture (that would be sweet)

I also want a good overclocking chip/stepping.

Currently I am looking at the Athlon XP 2100, (HSF ....not sure), Epox nforce2, 256 or 512 ram (PC 3200 or 3500??? Corsair maybe).
I have an enlight 350watt PSU (not sure if that is enough to run my new system)

Any suggestions on the upgrade "path"?

thanks,
Mattlock

I would get the all in wonder 9700 pro. it would be a solid choice for gaming and video editing. The 350W psu will definately be enough so no worries there. Try to get the pc3500 ddr memory since if you were going to overclock fsb, the memory wouldnt have any problems doing that since its rated up to much higher frequencies. If you want to save a few bucks, get a 2000+ cpu since it is very overclockable and extremely fast as it is.
