Hi, I have a Asus p9x79 with 32gb ram and a i7 3930k clocked at 4.1ghz on all cores. I managed to get a i7-11700kf for 20% of retail price, same with a decent asus rog strix z590-a gaming motherboard. I also bought some decent 16gb rams at 3600mhz with cl16.
I'm using a gtx 1070 with a 27" 2k 144hz (capable of 165).
I'm now wondering, is it really worth to upgrade? The pc itself is okey. I miss a couple of usb 3 in front and there is something wonky about my USB, I cannot use more than 4-5 slots without it becoming a bit weird. and also it would be really great with the wifi on the new mobo incase I need to hotspot.
I'm strongly concidering if I should return the new pc parts or use them, is it really a good upgrade or not? I've read so much back and fort about the i7-11700kf.
