Upgrade Question?

Hello All,

I have an older Asus A7V 133a MB, running an TB 800mhz, with a GForce2 GTS 32mb card, I'm looking at Up'ing the CPU to a 1.1TB and I'd like a new video card. I'm leaning towards the ATI Radeon 8500 or 9000, I can get a 9000 for $120.00 anybody have any thoughts? What would be the "best" bang for the buck. I don't have a lot of cash so I need the best value.

Ok...I have a little update. I found that with a bios upgrade I can run any of the AMD XP cpu's!!! So I'll most likely go to a XP 1.4, should be quite a kick in the pants to the old 800TB, So now I have this question....which is BETTER...
ATI 9000 or GForce 4 Ti 4200 ? I can get both for right at $130.00

The GF4 is much better. It goes like this: 9000 < 8500 < 4200.

Thanks! After reviewing lots of benchmarks and reading reviews I went with the GF4 Ti 4200, I'm sure it'll be money well spent. But I also read a lot about the ATI Radeon 9700 Pro...all I can say is WOW! If I had $400 bucks to spend I'd be on my way to the store. Some pretty impressive scores for sure!
