Upgrade Question

I have a fabled GTX 295. Because of this cards short life span, I can never find it on graphs to see how I stand up to new products. I'm just trying to understand if going from 1 GTX295 to 1 GTX580 is worth the cash. Thanks!

Your gtx295 is about as fast as a gtx480, so I would say no, especially if your at 1900x1080 or under.:thumbsup:

it is slightly faster than 5870, approaching gtx 480/570 in games that scale extremely well. However, the dx11 features in the newer cards add significantly to details/performance in some games so they're kind of hard to compare. If it was me I'd stick with the gtx 295 until maxwell/7xxx comes out, both of those are expected later this year.
