Well thats a 6 core and a very nice 600.00 chip. If I had no cpu and were to get a new system that would be nice. Still not worth upgrade to me yet. Extra 2 cores would go to waste.

But would I want it? Sure why not!

Unless he has SLI or Crossfire there is not gaming reason to get a IVY E over a I7 950.

Just admit you are addicted to hardware and have to have the latest needed or not needed.

In most cases its NOT worth it money wise. But if you want it for some sick reason due to addiction then fine get the upgrade and be happy with it.
