Anyone ever upgrade a dell pc's processor?

I'm wondering if the optiplex 745 (came with an e6600) can support quad core or the new 1333mhz fsb cpu's)

I have on an old 5-6yr dell8200 dimension. Worked just fine. Just have to make sure you get all the specs first so there won't be any problems.
