upgrade pc or get a console?

I can't really decide which. I don't see many pc games on the horizon that interest me but I am pretty sure upgrading my pc is the best option since I use it so so much. Any thoughts?
 
i think Dave and AVP's questions should be answered first.

which console were you looking into? if it's the PS3, definitely not. i really have seen no improvement out of it over my xbox360 and i'm basically only playing xbox (not 360) games on it.

 
Might as well spend the cash on upgrades, or wait longer for killer PS3 apps. Xbox 360 is another good option along with Gears of War.
