upgrade pc = new itunes sync???

Hi all,

I need your expert help. So, I upgraded my pc and instaledl windows. After that I downloaded and installed itunes 10.3. Everything works fine. Now when I plug in my ipod, itunes tells me that it was prevouisly sync with another computer and wants to erase everything before sync new stuff. Is there anyway I can get around this? Appreciate for all your help.

You'd probably have to rip all the songs from the iPod unless you can move the whole iTunes folder from the old computer to the new one.

if you google, there is a way to move your itunes library to your new hard drive including all playlists and play counts.

it is the apps i'm worry about, it's an ipod touch, will I loose the settings for that app if I go ahead to erase and resync?
