Upgrade path for Soyo KT333 Dragon Ultra

I?ll be upgrading my MB and CPU in the near future. Leaning towards the Soyo SY-KT333 Dragon Ultra along with an AMD Thoroughbred. However, with 64-bit CPUs on the horizon, I?m concerned that there won?t be many more 32-bit CPUs that I can upgrade to in the future. Would it be wise to wait until the 64-bit MBs are out, which should be soon? The chipsets are ready.
