upgrade or new build?

So My system is in the sig and I am wondering if adding more ram and a new vid(1080) card would be a better course then a complete new system? I game at 2k and have a 27" monitor. FPS games are my cup of tea. Titenfall/Crysis/COD. I take all input and opinions please.

Plenty of life left in your CPU. Buy a used 8GB stick of RAM (plenty of people are selling as they move to DDR4), and your choice of video card 1080/1070ti, and play your games until your hearts content.
 
I was hoping to hear that. my only regret on this build was not going with more ram when building.
