Upgrade or new build?

I'm trying to decide whether I should upgrade what I've got for $500 or just spend $1100 to build a new computer. If I upgrade, I would buy a Phenom II X4 920 (AM2+) and OC it ($135) and a GTX 570 (?). If I build a new computer, I would go with an i5-2500k and GTX 570 (and convert current computer into HTPC or something). What would you do?

Current specs:

CPU - Athlon X2 Kuma (2.7 GHz)
GPU - Radeon HD4830
MoBo - Gigabyte MA770-UD3
RAM - 4 GB DDR2
PSU - Antec EarthWatts 650 W

Build new, without a doubt build new.

build new...but it def doesnt need to cost you $1100.

I'd say you should upgrade, PII esp OC ed pass 3,6 should be plenty fast to drag out another year and half. save the cash for a full build next year with Ivy or BD second gen.
