Hello,
I've been using EVGA GTX 670 FTW for a ~year now, the card is running at 1228 / 1728 and I'm pretty satisfied with it.

I'm planning to watercool my PC with a triple 120mm rad very soon, which would be an overkill if I just watercool the CPU [ which already has Corsair H100 and the temp are sick ].

Now the issue Is that if I watercool my PC I would need to do that too for the GPU, and I don't think it would be a good idea to spend the money on a waterblock and then the card doesn't live for the time that I feel it was worth it!

So what do you guys suggest?
Do I just water-cool the CPU for now and give sometime until I upgrade my GPU and then watercool the new one?
Or Do I get a waterblock for my 670? can it make it for some more time that it's worth the money spent on cooling it? Will I benefit a lot from cooling it?

I'm really confused about this, and I do not consider to get another 670 for SLI as I don't like their scaling.

I've been using the same waterblock for 6 years - the mounting holes are the same on the HD7990 as they were on the HD2900XT, and I don't see them changing any time soon.

I can only assume this is true for nVidia cards too.

OP do not spend money on watercooling. whats your CPU ? the amount of money you will spend on watercooling, you could invest in a GTX 780 or the upcoming HD 9970, after selling the GTX 670.

I see different waterblocks for each GPU, with different sizes, I never knew they all can fit on different GPUs?

Agreed. Just make do with the H100 for your CPU and upgrade your GPU when new gen cards are out.

My block isn't a full coverage block, so it's pretty widely compatible. However...

... this is probably sound advice. Watercooling is rarely cost effective.
