Encoding generally doesn't benefit from GPU clock speed unless you are using a very specific encoder. Even then, it scales more with shaders.

Oh. Alright then.

I zip tied a 120mm to the side grill of the case. As the case wasn't exactly made for additional cooling.

I have it hooked up to my power supply so it's always running at max speed. I need a splitter so I can have it and the back fan go through the Mobo so it can tell the fans when to slow down and speed up.

The noise level isn't horrible though.

Aww year, redneck engineering FTW. You can also do the 7V mod to the fan as a cheap way to get it to spin slower.
