I'm thinking about upgrading my video card.
I have an EVGA GeForce GTX 275 896-P3-1170-AR in my system. I was thinking of upgrading to a GTX660 2Gig card. (Rest of system is Intel Core i7-860 Lynnfield 2.8GHz 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor,
ASUS P7P55D Deluxe LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Motherboard, 8 gig DDR3 - Qty2 of Corsair XMS3 CMX4GX3M2A1600C8, Antec Nine Hundred II case with Antec EarthWatts EA750 power supply)
While I don't do much gaming, I do a lot of video editing, re-encoding, etc. I'm looking for a performance boost until I can do a full system upgrade later this year. Some of the video software I use takes advantage of CUDA.
Would this be a worth while upgrade? With new Nvidia cards on the way soon, should I just wait?
Thanks!
