I'm not sure if i'm doing this wrong or not, but when I test my 2x2gb ram in my notebook on default settings of Memtest, there were no errors.

But when I changed the settings of memtest to address all memory, it fails test #7 every time. Am I supposed to be testing under default settings, or change the setting in menu #2 to address all ram?

So anyone know whats up with my errors?

I retested memtest on default settings overnight and it passed with no errors. But I still have the errors when I address all memory.

Give us some info. Make and model? RAM from factory, or did you install this yourself? 32 or 64bit OS? What is the OS?

Ram is A-DATA 4GB (2 x 2GB) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Notebook Memory

I did a self install on my dell 1520, Windows Vista Home Basic, 32-bit.

You should be fine. It's the "default" setting that's the correct one.

I hope your right. If so, that would save me the time to send it back.
