Upgrade my laptop or desktop?

I have two systems. A T42 1.7Ghz Pentium M with 1GB ram; I also have a Dell 2.0Ghz P4 with 768MB ram.

I was wondering what I should do to best run MS Access for a large (well, not that large really) DB - if getting 512MB more ram on my IBM (max 1.5GB) or increase my dell machine to 1.5GB ram would be a better decision?

Both will cost me about $100-120 to do; just not sure which system is probably already faster (i would prefer running on my laptop...)

A 1.7ghz pentium-m is gonna be way faster than the 2ghz P4, so I would use that machine.

That's what I heard... I think I might upgrade the hard drive too....
