My laptop is going on 3 years old now and the thing has run flawlessly with only some minor hiccups. However the only problem is that with new video cards coming out, mine is falling further and further behind. On reading the new article on the AT main page I saw that the new 8800M GTX are coming out in Nvidia's MXM format, which just so happens to be the format that the Vid Card in my laptop uses. Is there any chance that I would be able to utilize this to switch out my vid card for a new one, not necessily a GTX but maybe an 8700?

Well, I think that was the whole point of the MXM standard, was that it actually is a standard, and as such you should be able to just drop in the new card.

With the M70, as long as the new graphics card has the same form factor and fits the slot, you should be good to go.

The M70 is no ordinary laptop - it has a true Nvidis GPU that can be changed.

Tru, however there was review out about upgrading to a 7800GTX however it had to be undervolted like a mother in order to work w/ the power brick that comes with the M70...that's the major problem I'm seeing atm

Well just buy a stronger power brick.... That should fix the problem, I think it comes with a 90w, and you can get a 130w for it.
