UPGRADE IDEAS PLEASE

I currently using AMD XP 2100+
My next upgrade thought is AMD XP2400+ FSB333 or Intel P4 2.53G with Intel D845PEBT2 board.
Which is better in general ?

Save your cash and buy something else. Very few apps/games will require more than a 2100+.

Buy a 9700 Pro or pre-order a geforce FX.

Dont bother upgrading. If I were you I would wait until the summer or end of the year and get an Athlon64 or Prescott system depending on which is the better deal.

Don't upgrade. The performance increase would be negligible. Not worth it.

the performance increment will be too small,
you'd better try intel hyper threaded processors (3.06 GHz), or double processor MP, or speed up the graphics with Radeon 9700 pro 8x. It will give you a boost.
but anyway, most programs and games don't require any higher than 1 GHz.

I guess if you'd like to waste your money on that. What about your graphics card, ram? you didn't say what you even use the system for or if it's slow.
