Upgrade hw with vista retail

Does anybody know if I can switch my mobo and proc and still be ok with activation?
I've activated my copy of Windows but have now decided to upgrade. I know I will need to reinstall.

yes with the retail you are allows to make any changes you want or move it to another computer as long as it off the old machine.
