I am trying to upgrade a P2 400 with a Diamond Fire GL 1000 video card to the Radeon 9000. All the documentation & references I have looked at talk about the importance of uninstalling the video drivers, by clicking on Add/Remove Programs to remove the video drivers. However, there is no reference to the Diamond drivers listed.
Also, what other steps should I take? i.e. Editing the registry, etc. I have seen some instructions specific to Nvidia & ATI cards, but not Diamond (this one used the Permedia 2 chip).
