My PSU is 300watt. It says on a sticker : 3.3V-20A; 5V-20A, 12V1-8A, 12V2-14A,etc.
Please suggest me some more video cards. I was looking at the Ati HD2600XT, Ati HD 3650 , Nvidia 8600GT. Are they any good?

MSI NX8600GT-T2D256E OC GeForce 8600GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Supported Video Card - Retail $89....$69 after rebate

This is my personal favorite under $100. It is factory overclocked and runs almost as fast as an 8600GTS. It uses a nice large quiet fan as well.

It will crush your 7300GT. Of course there are much better cards out there in the $150 range, but under $100 and new, this would be the one.

:)

I wouldn't count on MSI rebates. 8800gs would be nice but it wouldn't work on a 300watt power supply.

Yeah, actually he'd need a 450W PSU to run it, thanks for correcting me. Still the MSI is probably the best offer for the money right now.

that psu will be a limiting factor in different cases - initially I was going to suggest hunting for a used 7900GTO which can be had for about that price & will trump anything new but that is also a used part

for your power out put I might suggest a 7600GT or an 8600GT - IMO I'd grab a cheap used 7600GT and a better PSU that might allow for future upgrades and still be in your $100 budget

Regarding your PSU I guess your best choice is the 8600 GT, but it really sux in current games. You should invest in a better PSU and like those above me said, in a 8800 GS or an ATI 3850, if you'll find it cheap enough.

That 8600GTS is such a good deal. I'm trying to hold back because I wasn't planning on upgrading right now, but I'm afraid I won't find a better deal when I do want to upgrade in a month or two.

I'm currently using a 7300LE.

It can handle an 8800GS, as long as you aren't running 4 hard drives, plus a bunch of high-speed fans.

I've seen the HD 3650 perform slightly better than HD 2600XT in most games, though they were both at stock, and the HD 3650 is capable of higher clocks, and as for the 8600GT vs HD 2600XT and HD 3650,depends on what games you play,i've seen HD 2600XT beat 8600GT in UT3 and even reach playable FPS at 1600x1200,though for a lot of other games, you won't be playing past 1280x1024/1440x900 unless you'll take a higher resolution over a few settings (Talking about less demanding games BTW)
