I am currently running a 32MB eVGA Geforce II MX and am itching to get a new card. My system is:

T-Bird 1GHz
384 CAS2 RAM
FIC AZ11 Mobo
SB Live 5.1

What do you think? A Kyro II or a Geforce II Pro? Or do I wait to scrape up enough to get a Geforce III (the itch to upgrade is getting pretty bad!)

Games I run are:

HL
Deus Ex
Black and White

I'd like some opinions, please.

Aarfy- Have you check out the reviews of both the cards from Anandtech yet?
I would like to get a Kyro III when they come out. They both are sweet cards man!
I was just looking at a KyroII 4500 earlier. :D Check out some of the other hardware sites for reviews and comparisons. Longer you wait.. the cheaper it'll be! ;)
G/L bro!

I am having a great time with my Kyro II, you should try it out! The Geforce 2 is almost out of date, and since Kyro II has a taste, you should really see which one you like. I love the Kyro II. I had the MX64 mg for a week before I returned it and tried the Kyro II, just to see for myself. It is indeed a great card! I reccomend it! BUT, try before you see for yourself, hey there is always the 30 Day return police from bestbuy will all Hercules products... no questions asked!

I've read every review I can find on both cards, and the edge seems to be with the Kyro. My GeForce MX has been a good card, but I get this urge to upgrade every 8 months or so. I'm intrigued by the way the Kyro renders images....it seems to be a smart solution that possibly other vendors will make greater use of.

So far, reading what users think, they like the Kyro. Benchmarks for it are great given the price, but they don't mean everything. I want to know what the users think, and appreciate the feedback!

Aarfy,
Go with the KyroII 4500 card from Hercules then :) Definitely do what SkyLine said:
go to Bestbuy and try it out. If it doesn't float ur boat.. then return the sombeetch.
BTW- I like Bestbuy. :) Test your games thoroughly out too! and repost ur results bro.!
G/L!

Unfortunately you can't buy a Videologic card, as they do a cheap upgrade path with their cards. When you register it they keep you on file and when the next card comes out they sell it to you first at a cheaper price.
