I right now have an MSI GTX 780 Ti, the standard clocked reference version. If I can sell my GTX 780 Ti and buy a used factory overclocked GTX 780 Ti such as an EVGA GTX 780 Ti SC at the same price I sell my 780 or maybe a slightly higher would it be worth the upgrade considering the hassle and end up with no warranty?

Pretty sure Evga lets you do a guest RMA so you should have a warranty.
Confused by your post. You have a 780ti MSI now and want to get a 780 ti evga SC ACX. Then you mention you have a 780. If you have a 780 MSI and want to upgrade to the 780ti I think you should. Especially if you overclock. They OC very well. If you already have a 780Ti then OC it and dont worry with the hassle.
