So my GTX 460 is having problems running the latest games at atleast 60 FPS so I decided to buy a new graphics card.

I am running 1920x1080, i5 2400, 4GB RAM, Arctic Cooling Fusion 550w.

My budget is around 160-170 euro.

I know that the R9 270 is a bit faster, but I am kinda worried about the software. I have always had a NVIDIA card for my entire life, so I have no idea how good the ATI software is.

Will the jump from GTX 460 to GTX 660/R9 270 be REALLY big?

yes it would . it's like a jump from your card to a gtx 580 . as for the software, it's faults are way overblown . I've owned both brands since the 2600xt and they both occasionally, but, as I've seen, it's nothing that seriously harms your gaming experience .(except for those card killing drivers from Nvidia, but that's rare .)
