What do you think. I can grab 2 of them up here in Canada for $340 for SLI. I know the GTX 650 Ti is about as fast as a GTX 460 1GB but I've seen the benchmarks for the BOOST and it seems they are almost as fast as a GTX 660. I also like the fact that they have 2GB of GDDR5 and a 192-bit bus for 144GB/sec of bandwidth which is 30GB more than the GTX 460 1GB.

What do you think? Thank you.

Performance wise it looks like some good bang for the buck to me. You have 460's in sli it looks like already so your used to sli's quirks at times I'd think. Selling the 460's would bring your investment in the 560ti's into a very nice performance vs cost ratio I'd think.

If the boost is a 128bit it will probably be a big bottleneck. Unless ypu game at less then 1080p

Just get the 660. It's the minimum card in SLI that will give you any significant performance gains.
lol what? I guess the missing 192 sp and 16 tmus means he cant sli gtx650 ti boost and get the similar level of scaling as 660 sli?

reality is that its faster than the 7970 ghz so for 340 total in Canada its on okay deal. I would still get a single card though myself.

That's a bad upgrade. Either wait or go to single card.

460 in SLI is solid for today's games at 1080p or less if you don't need highest details.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to get 2 GTX 660 Ti instead.

Now you're talking near Titan performance level. If you can find a couple used for cheap (and you can if you troll [H] and AT FS forums) you'll have a great setup. I purchased a couple used for a grand total of $430.

why don't you wait for the GTX 780 which will be based on the GK110 chip. launches on may 23rd. should be closer to Titan than GTX 680. you can expect 20% faster performance than GTX 680 and more OC headroom because of lower stock clocks.

Maybe a paper launch. But I see no signs of preorders for these even available.

OP, I have a GTX 650ti Boost. If you want me to run some benches, I would be more than glad to. This thing is on par with a GTX660 with a mild OC.
