I have an old ghetto G network.

Two laptops, PS3, HTPC, two Android phones, HP printer, Buffalo NAS all on a Linksys 54G

I was thinking about get a Linksys E2500, but realized my HTPC would need a N adapter, so why not get a second Linksys E2500 to act as a bridge and my PS3 and HTPC could benifit from it.

Does this sound reasonable? Is it cost effective and easy enough to setup?

Any advice would be great, thanks.

Any reason you want to go N? The speed difference isnt anywhere close to the numbers they advertise and most peoples home internet connections cant max out G much less need N.

Not trying to knock your idea by any means, just trying to make sure you actually need the upgrade.

With the Buffalo NAS, I found some SD material struggling over G via DLNA. Maybe I should keep testing it though.

You should have no trouble streaming SD material over a G connection unless something is screwy.
