My current setup:
EVGA 512-P3-N802-A1 GeForce 8800GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16814130303
Acer 22'' LCD monitor
Intel Quad Core @ 3.2 MHz
8GB RAM
Windows 7 RC
Cooler Master 650W PS
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817171023
- I will be installing Windows 7 RTM on WD 1TB Caviar Black hard drive.
- I will soon purchase HANNS-G 28'' LCD monitor from newegg.
- I'm not a hard core gamer, but plays Crysis whenever I get time. I'm into graphics and would like to have graphics power better than my 8800GT.
Questions:
1. Which card to buy so that I can see significant improvement from my current setup? Is GTX 260 Super Clocked good enough?
2. Is my power supply good enough for GTX 260 + video cards? I'm worried about the current (Amp) ratings.
Any other tips/hints are appreciated.
Thanks
fizk
