Upgrade from 6870 to GTX 570?

A friend of mine is willing to sell his eVGA GTX 570 for $250 and it's been registered for lifetime warranty. I could probably get at least $120 for my 6870 and he owes me $100 already, so I'd pay $30 out of pocket. Is it worth the upgrade? Keep in mind that I value high frame rates over visual quality so the 1280MB of the GTX 570 shouldn't be a problem for me right? Thanks in advance.

Edit: Another factor I forgot to mention is that my bedroom has awful air conditioning so heat output while gaming makes the room noticeably hotter in the summer. The 6870 is very efficient while the 570 is not, would this make a perceptible difference though?

Edit 2: Forgot to mention that I also play Battlefield 3 pretty much exclusively. My one complaint with my 6870 is that frame rates drop below 40, even without everything being on high.

It draws about 70 more watts, you might notice that by a C or two difference in room temps. It's also about 30%~ faster, you might notice that as well.

570 isn't really inefficient when comparing last gen cards, it's just noticeably more powerful than the 6850.

Forgot to mention that Battlefield 3 is my main gaming concern. I've also been playing the Witcher 2 which owns my 6870 pretty badly.
