Upgrade from 3500+ single core or wait?

Checking cpuid, it says I have a 3500+ 2.2 Clawhammer. I'm mainly looking for better game performance. Current card is a ATI X800xl. Will I get more out of a processor upgrade or a new video card? Have 2gb ram at the moment.
 
Graphics card, without a doubt. Don't even think about upgrading the CPU before getting a significantly faster card.
