does anyone have a benchmark site that they know of that shows the difference in the 1gig on a system and 2gig on a system and possibily having a 3gig on a system?

Get a Raptor, like others said, the spindle speed will do more for you speed wise than a raid 0 with the 120 gb drives. The ram and cpu are not worth it at this time, 1 gig is enough, and you wont see enough performence gain to justify buying the other cpu.

Are you just looking for more storage? Raid 0 doesn't give you more storage per se, Raid 0 is more of a perfomance enhancement, while the real raids (2-5) are for redundancy.

ok here are the following i am thinking of upgrading... please tell me what the difference would be between each component and also the overall difference...

I mainly use the computer to do video editing in programs like... Adobe Premiere Pro and edit pictures using Photoshop...

here we go...

2.8CGhz -----> 3.2CGhz

1gig of PC3200 ram ------> 3gig of PC3200 ram

1x 120 gig 7200rpm 8mb cache ------> 2x 120 gig 7200rpm 8mb cache (in raid setup having one hard drive for music, videos, pictures and downloaded material and the other for program installations)

Uuuuuuuuuuuh...why don't you just overclock your 2.8C to 3.2C speeds?

Crap, i was going to say that lol. But make sure u really do have a "C" version (im assuming u do sense u claim to have pc3200 ram but u never know)
Also, u could raid 2 WD740 raptor drives in raid 0 and ull have like ~150gb more of storage and just use ur other drive for storage of things other than what ud use for photo editing purposes (aka not the photos or windows) Just make sure if u get sata drives, that u have an sata controler built in ur mobo or a controler card put in a pci slot
