We’re currently investigating an issue related to the forum theme and styling that is impacting page layout and visual formatting. The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. We’ll post an update once the fix has been deployed. Thanks for your patience while we get this sorted.
Eitherway waiting unitl later this month will save you some money. But it would help if you said was resolution you game at as well as what games you like to play.
Example: Valve Source games run better with AMD hardware.
WTF? REALLY? Since when did source games require anything above an 8800 anyway haha. It doesn't really matter, Half Life 2/ CS:S/ TF2 get maxed out at any resolution at ridiculous framerates with any modern card (as long as you aren't packing a pentium 3 on the side...).
It would be smart to wait for the ATI 6xxx series to launch even if you don't plan on buying one. It will drop prices.
Before I tell you what card you can get that will be worthwhile you do kinda need to post the resolution of your monitor and what the rest of your system specs are.
It would be worth waiting for the new AMD cards at this point. And figure out how much you want to spend. You should probably look for a card around a GTX 460 or HD 5850 performance level.
