Upgrade C2D E6400 to E8400 or Q8300

I'm upgrading my HTPC processor from a E6400 to either a E8400 or Q8300?

Which would you choose? I can get either for $85.

for a HTPC that's a waste of money.. I'd choose stay with current, maybe buy a blu-ray drive with the $85 and some more.

I'm getting the new Ceton cablecard quad-tuner, so I thought the 4 cores would help with 4 streams.
