I was taking a look at this mobo too earlier, Ive heard many horror stories with this board. My friend has one, and his Parallel port is not functional, he got lucky. Plus im sure your going to need a bios upgrade first before you can use the Venice chip. I did alot of searching for a decent AGP board and narrowed it down to the MSI K8nneo2 platinum; but once again ive heard alot of horror stories with this board as well, and MSI doesnt have a good reputation in my mind. So I scraped up enough money and went with the Pci-express. I bought the DFI SLI-DR board, it came with a brochure with its full AMD64 Lineup, it had socket 939 AGP nforce 3 board offered. I did not see this board in my research. You should look into that, cus i think this DFI AGP 939 board looks like its your best bet. hope this helps

P.S. I found the brochure its listed as follows: [939: Lanparty UT nF3 Ultra-D]
Once again I did not see this board offered at newegg or monarch computers. So hope you can find it

I just purchased the same setup 2 weeks ago.

Mobo: ASUS A8V Deluxe
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3000

Get the two...they are flying on the system. ASUS give you plenty of overclocking choises and it can easily get up to a 3200 speed with just the stock cooling. The only problem I had was setting up a SATA Western Digital HD but I was able to fix it and now I am an expert.

Got them both at the Egg.
