I want to upgrade strictly for gaming notably Witcher 3, modded Skyrim. Planning on replacing vid card with (R9 290/ 290x). First, is there that much difference between the R9290 vs R9290x? I know the tech specs, but how much difference will it make in game play?
Also, not ruling out Nvidia, but may be too pricey. Do not want to spend more than 700.00.

RAM [/FONT][FONT="]GSkill Ripjaws 8 gig [/FONT]

I think this set up should be o.k. as is?
